Job Title: Full-Time Technical Support Technician

Reports To: Technical Support Manager

Job Code: FT Location: Dover

Supervision Received:

Individual reports to the Technical Support Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Technician Responsibilities:

1. Field Repairs

2. Test/Calibration for new product

3. Production repairs to board level

4. Production/Inventory control

5. Involved in production process including utilization of software programs

6. Light Engineering: Product Development/Modification

7. Utilize Quality System:

• Develop Test/Inspection Procedures
• Develop Software aids using Microsoft Access
• Collect/Analyze quality data

Customer Service Responsibilities:

1. Field incoming calls: Troubleshoot hardware/software problems both simple and complex

2. Provide telephone training to product users

3. Office support – answer phones, take orders as required

4. Sales support – light travel

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required for this position.

• An Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in electronics or related field

• A minimum of 2 years experience in electronics technical testing or repair.

• Knowledge or experience with medical devices, quality controls, FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485 requirements

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate solutions.

• Ability to multitask.
