Physical Therapist

A physical therapist is a health professional with at least a four year degree that specializes in the evaluation and treatment of various diagnoses that limit physical functioning.  Physical therapists work with individuals of all ages.  Physical therapists examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to restore function.  Physical Therapists provide care in a variety of settings including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings and nursing homes.
